Using the case studies on private investment that will be developed, GSSP will work with the Indian Institute of Management of Bangalore (IIMB) and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) to develop an agri-business program. MoFA recently created an agribusiness support unit within the Policy Planning Monitoring and Evaluation Directorate (PPMED) of the ministry and has requested help from GIMPA on training and support for this unit. GSSP will work with IIMB and GIMPA to develop a program that GIMPA will implement in Ghana for training MoFA staff and others. Course material will be developed to meet the needs here based on the work on value chain development and other current practices in Ghana as well as a set of case studies. IIMB will then train the GIMPA staff and help them implement the first training in Ghana.
